Reflexology Receiving National Exposure

I am excited to say that reflexology is finally beginning to come to the forefront of national attention. Some of you may have seen Oprah's segment with Dr. Oz in which he talked about the benefits of reflexology for his patients. Reflexology is part of his protocol pre- and post surgically because of its ability to assist the body in healing. His staff has contacted our national association, the Reflexology Association of America, to consider filming a segment on reflexology. Also, Oprah has been in contact with RAA about participating in a wellness conference in Kansas City in 2010.

Hand Reflexology Workshops in 2010

I am in the process of developing a hand reflexology workshop in which you will learn reflexology techniques that you will be able to perform on yourself or another person. Look for announcements in early 2010.

Publications

Marilyn has an article published in the Reflexology Association of America News Magazine in the autumn 2009 edition, entitled "Hand Reflexology: Cranial and Cervical Effects."

Marilyn was also quoted in an article in the September issue of Massage Magazine, "Create Balance with Reflexology," in regards to her work with the effects of reflexology on cancer patients.
